Places To See

Places To See & Things To Do!

Upper Peninsula

Michigan’s Upper Peninsula is a beautiful area to take in the magnificent scenery year-round. Whether it is spring, summer, winter, or fall, this area holds to beauty and elegance at all times. Our motel is a great starting point for your journey through Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Epoufette “a place of rest.”

Epoufette has been a fishing village since 1859, when Amable Goudreau, born in Quebec around 1824, established a commercial fishery. Fishing is excellent here, and a lot of our guests stay with us during the fishing season here in Epoufette. Take a load off, unwind, and go out and fish!

Mackinac Island

Mackinac Island is pretty close to our motel. There is a lot of things to do, including Fort Mackinac, Art Museums, Historic Indian Dormitories and much more.

Garlyn Zoo Wildlife Park

The Garlyn Zoo Wildlife Park is the largest zoo in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and is home to 450 different animals. You will enjoy people-friendly animals up close, including African Lion, Hyena, Tiger, Grizzly Bear, Wolves, Cougar, Alligator, Monkeys, Camel, Reindeer, and more.

Attractions In Summer

During the summer months, you can enjoy a boat ride on many of our bodies of water. Go hiking through Naubinway state forest or relax on our 90ft deck and enjoy the view.

We are open year-round. We are always providing affordable rates, clean and cozy rooms.

Stay with Us and Enjoy Upper Peninsula

Year-round there is always something going on in our area. During the winter months, you can ride your snowmobiles or ATVs down to groom trails. Enjoy sledding or snow tubing with your family.

At Skyline Motel, we will help you see all the attractions possible during your stay.
